The Mineral Unit is comprised of 18 labeled mineral specimens and corresponding classroom materials. The minerals are divided into 2 sets in labeled boxes. The Mineral Materials include seven different classroom activities. Included are Mineral Information Cards which can be used to define and be matched to the specimens and Mineral Clues. Also included is the Moh’s Scale of Hardness and a Mineral Identification book as well as reproducible student charts for identifying characteristics of minerals.
